Skoda Fabia Tyre Wear and Handling Problems

Does your Skoda Fabia (or VW Polo / SEAT Ibiza) suffer from uneven tyre wear and vague handling? SuperPro employee, Jon, has owned a 2012 Fabia Scout 1.6TDI from new and has always had an issue with the rear tyres wearing unevenly and the handling has always been towards the functional rather than fun. The car passed its last MOT test with advisory notices for a leaking rear damper, rear beam axle bushes were showing signs of movement but hadn't failed and, worn inner tie-rods on the steering rack. When we looked at the history of the MOT reports, we noticed that every single one had mentioned worn rear tyres. Every time, the tyres had worn unevenly. We decided to actually fix the problem that was causing the uneven tyre wear and took the opportunity to make the car more engaging to drive at the same time... This is now a genuinely fun car to drive and still performs the family duties in comfort and without compromise!
