You're not alone. This, very common issue, is caused by a lack of adjustability in the rear control arms when lowering the vehicle more than 50mm. Reducing the ride height beyond this point makes it impossible to compensate for the change in camber and toe. This means your tyres don't sit flat on the road and scrub against the tarmac.

Fortunately, it's very simple to solve this issue by fitting SuperPro alignment correction bushes to the rear control arms. Part numbers SPF4526K and SPF4528K provide a greater range of camber and toe adjustment to get the geometry back into manufacturers spec. We would also recommend buying the slimline adjustment spanner to allow for on-car adjustment (part number SPF4961SP).
