4X4 Fixed Upper Control Arms to correct lifted vehicles

Large numbers of 4x4 owners choose to fit larger wheels/tyres, winches, bull-bars and canopies which is often done with a lift in suspension height.

After lifting a 4X4, it's imperative that you fix the alignment issues that the changes in geometry will introduce. All vehicles come with a built-in amount of adjustment to suspension components to allow fine-tuning to be made during wheel alignment, but, lifting (or lowering) a vehicle will often either push these adjustments to the limit or put them completely out of range which leads to tyre wear, unstable handling and poor on/off-road characteristics. It becomes impossible to align the vehicle to manufacturer specification.

The only solution is to fit upper control arms that give a greater range of adjustment for the alignment technician to work with and SuperPro has been supplying their hugely popular Adjustable Upper Control Arms for many years for this exact purpose.

However, to bolster the options that are available to 4x4 owners, SuperPro has now released a range of Fixed Upper Control Arms as a more affordable upgrade to correct alignment issues.

Unlike the Adjustable Upper Control Arms, the Fixed versions offer a ‘fixed’ camber and caster correction range which will give between +2.5 and+3.5 degrees of caster and up to 1.5 degrees of negative camber adjustment (depending on the height of the lift). They are ideally suited to a “conventional” 50mm lift and are truly a fit-and-forget solution.

If even greater adjustment is needed, we still have the SuperPro Adjustable Upper Control Arms allowing for the perfect alignment setup to suit the diverse range of aftermarket suspension, wheel and tyre setups available.

SuperPro 4x4 Upper Control Arms are designed, tested and manufacturer to the highest standard, designed to outperform the competition and Original Equipment (OE) parts. The SuperPro business motto is ‘Engineered to Outperform, and they do this by exceeding many design expectations and are also certified as such. To further solidify SuperPro Suspensions statement of 'Engineered to Outperform', they have provided a set of 4x4 adjustable and fixed control arms to a third-party engineering company. The main underlining note being "In line with the provided information from SuperPro, the FUCA complies with the ADR ruling as stated in the NCOP. It is manufactured to meet or exceed the factory item, with built in features & benefits to suit raised suspension".
