Report from Rally Day 2017, Castle Combe, 23rd September

Saturday 23rd September saw Castle Combe race circuit in Wiltshire, England, host this year’s spectacular automotive festival - Rally Day 2017.

The weather bucked recent trends as the sun shone down all day on the large crowd of car enthusiasts from across Europe (and undoubtedly made the range of ice creams on offer taste even better!).

For those who haven’t been, Rally Day is one of the UK’s most loved rallying events where star drivers and a huge selection of exceptional cars entertain thousands of fans both in the paddocks and out on track.

This year included a special Series McRae display along with ex co-driver Nicky Grist to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the 1995 World Rally Championship’s passing. Along with Nicky Grist, fans also got to see Stig Blomqvist, Harri Toivonen, Jari-Matti Latvala, Ott Tanak, Elfyn Evans, Malcolm Wilson, Andreas Bakkerud and Keith Cronin!

For the seventh successive year, SuperPro Europe, supplier of high-quality suspension solutions, were both sponsoring and exhibiting at the show with their biggest and best display yet. Managing Director of SuperPro Europe Richard Fearn said: “We were delighted to be associated with Rallyday again this year and to continue to develop our association with the show. The event enables us to showcase our products in front of thousands of people who represent our target market: drivers and owners who care for their cars and want them to perform better."

World-renowned suspension specialists SuperPro displayed a selection of their latest and greatest products that are available for a wide range of vehicles. Showgoers were able to get up close and personal with some of their own demo cars, and those of their tuning specialists (as detailed below) that cover everything from fire-spitting Rally cars, to high performance 4x4 off-roaders, to lightweight track race cars (and everything in-between).

The following cars (complete with SuperPro suspension parts) were on display directly on the SuperPro stand:

SuperPro would like to thank all their trade customers for coming along and lending them their support and expertise and also to thank all those customers who took the time to come and see what SuperPro is all about.
