SuperPro launches alloy arms and suspension upgrade packages for the Volkswagen Golf Mk7

The introduction of its suspension upgrades for the latest version of the Golf is a significant move for SuperPro, as VW’s popular mid-size hatchback continues to be Europe’s best selling car. Once again, VAG are utilising the same platform for its Audi A3, Seat Leon and Skoda Octavia models, which means even more cars can benefit from the new products available from SuperPro.

SuperPro Supaloy front control arms are available for the Golf Mk7 and its VAG stablemates, for both two-and four-wheel-drive (4motion) configurations. These are the first aluminium control arms on the market for the latest version of the Golf.

Manufactured from top quality polished aluminium, the arms feature a SuperPro bush with crush tube for the front and a Duroball assembly for the rear mounting point that ensures positive location of the arm without compromising the free movement required. The arm fixes to the standard front ball joint and is designed to directly replace the manufacturer’s OE version.

These high quality arms provide up to four degrees of caster increase – two degrees per side – and 0.5 degrees of negative camber when compared to the original manufacturer suspension settings. The arms also weigh around 38% less than the standard versions and therefore, reduce the amount of un-sprung weight. Added to this they are corrosion resistant – plus they look good too!

The inclusion of the SuperPro bushes into the aluminium control arms means that drivers will experience a sharper response and an improved feel to handling and steering. The upgrade will also provide greater durability and longevity over that of the standard rubber and steel components.
