Kirsty Widdrington and Syril take on the British Drift Championship with help from SuperPro

My name is Kirsty Widdrington & I have been competing in the Motorsport of drifting for 8 years this year, with seven of those being in #Syril.

#Syril is a Nissan Silvia PS13 & is my full blown competition drift car. (See pics below). He currently runs an SR20DET 2.0 fully forged engine with a Garrett top mount 3071R turbo. To keep this power transferring to the 350 gearbox conversion we use an ACT twin plate clutch & flywheel.

I have used #Syril in competition since 2011 with many high place qualifications in the U.K, Ireland & Europe.

We have used SuperPro Suspension Bushes on Syril since 2012 & still have the same bushes on to this day!

Great for us customers & longevity however bad for repeat sales as their product is so good & lasts for years & years (even in competition use) as I have proved!

We were sponsored by Falken Tyres for 4/5 years which gave us the opportunity to take part in numerous competitions and demonstrations all over Germany to name a few Hockenheim, Bodensee Tuning World Show & Nurburgring at both the 24 hour race & in the Nurburgring Drift Cup with these various tracks having very different characteristics as you can imagine so testing for the suspension & bushes.

As with most racing you need the car to feel stable, secure but yet responsive to your needs - all of this is achieved with the Superpro Suspension Bushes fitted.

I am very fortunate to have another tyre brand that has come on board with us for the journey this season which is Achilles Tires - these tyres are VERY soft & grippy (on a pre-season test day we actually snapped the standard size drive shafts).

So we now have uprated to the thicker 5 bolt Nissan Skyline shafts & yet with all this going on & the tyres changing the feel of the car - the suspension bushes are still 100%! I honestly cannot rate Superpro Suspension products highly enough.

This year I am back competing in the UK at The British Drift Championship after a year out whilst I was over in Ireland competing last year to "up my game" & experience a different championship for a full season.

After each event I shall be doing a write up for Superpro & you can keep up to date with it right here on their website!
