Control Arm Outer Bush Kit (Alignment Correction) for the 2004 to 2009 Volkswagen Transporter T5 2.5 TDI 4motion

Have you lowered your T5 / T6? If so, you may well be suffering from excessive rear tyre wear. What's needed is to add additional adjustment to the rear arms which can be done by fitting our offset bushes and tubes.

We would recommend buying the spanner (to allow on-car adjustment - part number SPF4961SP) and offset bushes for the inner arms (SPF4526K).

These give you a greater range of camber adjustment over the standard bushes to get correct alignment and stop the excessive tyre wear.

Alignment Correction. Camber & Toe Adjustment. Offset for adjustment - 2mm Toe & 0.5 degree Camber. If lowering your vehicle more than 50mm, you should use these bushes to correct camber issues. Incorrect camber on these vehicles leads to excessive rear tyre wear. These bushes give the wheel alignment technician additional adjustability to bring camber back into range. We recommend fitting these along with SPF4526K

You may also need to purchase the slimline spanner (SPF3850SPK) to allow you to adjust the bushes in-situ on the car.
